Seasonal Labourer/ Driver

Education/Training/Certifications
- Grade 12 secondary school diploma
- Possess and maintain a valid Class ‘D’ driver’s license with ‘Z’ endorsement with a clean driver’s abstract
- Possess or agree to obtain training in WHMIS, First Aid, Chainsaw Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety
- A minimum of 2 years relative road maintenance or road construction experience would be an asset
- Knowledge of snow removal and snow removal procedures is an asset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical defects
- Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and standard practices
Position Requirements
Duties include, but are not limited to winter maintenance operations, assisting with excavations for water & sewer, pothole repair, and operating and maintaining various equipment.
Type of Job: Part-Time, Seasonal,
Hourly Wage/Salary: Competitive salary (commensurate with qualifications)
Hours: The position will require some night and weekend shifts
