During this 20-week paid program, participants will be able to choose from one of three streams: Information & Technology, Skilled Manufacturing & Apprenticeship, or Office Administration. Helping Youth Prepare
for Employment
HYPE is designed to assist those aged 15-30 years who are facing barriers to employment.
During this paid 20-week program, participants will receive pre-employment training based on labour market demands.
Participants will be supported through 8 weeks of training to obtain and enhance their soft skills, teamwork, communication, interview skills, professional effectiveness, portfolio development and receive individualized industry specific training.
Once the 8 weeks is completed, participants will have a chance to secure an
12-week quality employment opportunity!
How to Qualify:
Basic literacy and computer skills
Age 15-30 years
Cannot be a full-time student
Must be able to commit to full length of program
