QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience.is a must
  • Experience and/or knowledge in a municipal environment an asset
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Munisoft, social media, and website maintenance
  • Able to be bonded
  • Proven strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or as a team member with staff, elected officials and organizations

Position Requirements

The Town of Deseronto is seeking a dynamic individual to provide part-time support to the Town of Deseronto Finance and Administration Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support in the day-to-day administrative functions of the Municipality
  • Processing payments in various forms for taxes, water, bag tags etc.
  • Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate department
  • Assist with co-ordination of special projects
