Position Requirements
We are beyond excited to be opening a new location in PEC! We are seeking the perfect right-hand person to help us open and run our shop in Wellington, set to open June 1st.
Training would begin as early as May 1st and the ideal candidate is personable, mature and responsible with an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for jewellery (although specific jewellery experience is not required!) Experience in retail sales, business management and hospitality are all major assets. A sense of ownership, reliability and the ability to work independently, in tandem with the owner, virtually with the Toronto team, as well as leading a small in-store team in PEC are all necessary. We want you to feel like this is your store too and that we can count on you to run the show while we operate both locations!
Your general responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparation, setting up and opening of the new location with focus on functionality and achieving the ultimate Anice aesthetic and experience
- The overall running of daily operations
- Store opening and closing, keyholding, cash management, Point of Sale management etc.
- Maintaining store upkeep, ensuring things are clean, beautifully merchandised, well-stocked with product, materials, workshop supplies, cleaning and operational supplies, and that regular inventory is being performed and fulfilled
- An eagerness to engage with clients, selling them on the Anice brand and experience, boosting daily sales and innovating on new ways to inspire our new customer base
- An enthusiasm for sales and creating goals and targets for optimal business growth
- Customer service and client care, mindful guest recoveries when needed, a determination for customer happiness and satisfaction
- Product knowledge and service promotion. Develop a strong understanding of the company, our brand, and learn the basics about our jewellery, projects, offerings and services
- Staffing, scheduling and team management. As business grows you will be hiring shop help which you will be required to schedule, manage and oversee to ensure optimal customer service while keeping labour goals in mind
- Email management and support
- Cash outs, sales data entry, deposits
- Assisting the owner and Toronto team in all new ventures that arise to expand our presence, reach and impact in PEC!
This is a salaried full-time position with store hours set to be from Tuesday to Sunday, 12-6pm. We can discuss the details of your scheduling structure during your interview.
