The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Successful completion of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years of work experience in proven construction and building repair fields including carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating and security systems
• Capable of reading blue prints, building plans and working within computerized work order systems
• Knowledge and training under the Occupational Health & Safety Act including experience in fall arrest and scissor lift operations
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team as required
• Proven communication and customer service skills
• Flexible to work outside of regular work hours, including weekends
• Ability to complete tasks involving climbing, heavy pushing, pulling and lifting on a regular basis and work outdoors as required
• Satisfactory Criminal Background Check
• Valid Class ‘G’ Driver’s License
