Skilled Construction Worker
Turnkey Construction - Central East Ontario (Peterborough County, Prince Edward County, East Durham)
Education/Training/Certifications
Requirements and Qualifications
● 5 or more years of residential construction experience
● 3 or more years of finish carpentry experience
● High school degree or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
● Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
● Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
● Excellent communication skills
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Position Requirements
We have an immediate opening for Skilled Construction Workers to join our team to work on
construction projects. We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working, detail-oriented person to join our
team.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
● Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
● Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
● Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
● Roofing, tiling, masonry, finish carpentry, concrete formwork/finishing
● Repairing damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
● Adhere to all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
● Other tasks as assigned
● Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
