- Experience working with children
- Current Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
- Ability to work as an active member of a team
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Up-to-date immunization including COVID-19 vaccination and 2-step TB test
- Diploma, or in process of completing, in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care is considered an asset

More than just a childcare center, the Trenton MFRC provides services and resources that support the well-being of military families serving at 8 Wing/CFB Trenton.
The Trenton MFRC is looking to hire creative, enthusiastic and energetic Childcare Assistants to join our childcare team. There are many opportunities to seek new challenges within the organization as you learn and grow with us. There is even the opportunity to work and access grants to pursue your ECE Diploma!
Hours of Work:
Our Centres are open 6:45am – 5:15pm, Monday to Friday. There are times when work extends beyond normal operating hours to support the unique needs of military families.
All childcare staff join our organization in a part-time (up to 30 hours) or casual capacity however, because we have multiple locations, there is the ability to pick up additional hours at our other sites.
Type of Job: On call / casual, Part-Time,
Hourly Wage/Salary: $17per hour
Hours: 0-30 hours per week
