Education/Training/Certifications
- 7 or more years of residential construction experience
- 5 or more years of finish carpentry experience
- Trade apprenticeship a
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Position Requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other
materials - Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
- May prepare cost estimates for clients
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Roofing, tiling, masonry, finish carpentry, concrete formwork/finishing
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Other tasks as assigned
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Hourly Wage/Salary: $31.83 to $35.65/Hour
