Education/Training/Certifications
Qualifications:
- A Community College Diploma in a related field and two years of relevant experience is preferred.
- A valid Driver’s Licence and CPR and First Aid certification is required.

YOUTH INTENSIVE CASE MANAGER
Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc.’s Hastings Housing Resource Centre requires a Youth Intensive Case Manager to provide services to homeless youth in Hastings County. This is a permanent position working 28-35 hours per week commencing as soon as possible.
The successful candidate must have experience working with youth and expertise in delivering housing assessments and counselling skills to clients. The position will provide intensive housing support to chronically homeless youth and referrals to community resources. Candidates must have strong advocacy skills and excellent knowledge of local community resources and the local housing market. Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications and software programs is essential.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized support plans, assisting clients in obtaining and maintaining housing, providing housing retention and life skills counselling, liaising, advocating and referring clients to relevant community agencies, networking with local community agencies and landlords, providing on-going intensive follow-up services, maintaining client files and assisting with data collection and reporting.
