Are you motivated and eager to learn more about construction? We are looking to expand our team and hiring 2 positions – 1 experienced Carpenter and 1 general labourer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – preferred completed carpentry apprentice and Red Seal certified (or experience equivalent)
- Work Experience – minimum 2 years of construction experience
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job site
- Â Small hand and power tools experienceÂ
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
- Previous carpentry/construction experience is an assetÂ
Position Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Measure, cut wood and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Carpentry and general labour in new builds, additions and home renovation projects, decks and outdoor living spacesÂ
- Heavy lifting
- Use of small hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work site
Type of Job: Full Time,
Hourly Wage/Salary: $19.00-$25.00 (Based on experience)
Hours: 44+ hours per week
