Education/Training/Certifications
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT systems and operations domain preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a computing discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated team player who is able to lead, coach and inspire teams
- Flexible and able to respond quickly to changing priorities
- Occasional travel is required for this position, therefore applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and passport (or be willing and eligible to obtain a passport)
Technical Qualifications:
- Technical competence in both infrastructure and application development/deployment projects
- Working knowledge of virtualization systems (i.e. Vmware, Nutanix)
- Knowledge of ITIL V3.0 framework driving a service management-oriented approach to IT
- Knowledge of helpdesk, disaster recovery, and security principals
Position Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Point-of-contact for all digital technology needs
- Manage change control and incident/problem management associated with local Data Center IT operations
- Perform SLA contract management and oversee contract operations for all IT services
- Provide leadership in the areas of IT architecture, design, support, and service delivery
- Provide data recovery services and business continuity planning in cooperation with key users and local operations staff
- Lead IT system launch teams supporting growth opportunities
- Program Manager for the IT infrastructure transformation
- Maintenance, configuration, and operation of computer systems, physical and virtual server infrastructure, and storage systems
- Create and maintain IT related documentation and specifications for implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Provide on-call/after-hours support to production systems as required
