We are looking for a hard working and passionate individual to join our team at Furball’s Choice.

Within our company we have positions available for Dog Walking & Pet Sitting. These services are provided to each client in the privacy of their own home while they are at work or away on vacation. The ideal candidate MUST be able to travel to multiple clients a day within the Bay of Quinte Region. Having your own reliable transportation is a must.

As well, we have positions available in our Retail Pet Store for Qualified individuals. We specialize in the production and sale of Raw and natural Pet Foods and other health products. If you’re passionate about animal health and wellness then we want to hear from you! To work within the retail store applicants must be willing to work with raw meat and Pet Food products. There is a lot of lifting, one should have good physical fitness with the ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and assist with team lifts. Previous customer service experience is a requirement when applying for this position.

Please note that we require all applicants to be a minimum of 18 years old.

Read, write and speak fluent English. Bilingual in French is an asset, but not required.

• Able to work: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays & Some Overnights.
• Be very reliable, punctual, dependable and flexible.
• Must have your own vehicle that you can use for work, have a full G drivers license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Provide a clean criminal record check.
• Must be seeking long term employment 3+ years. (Sorry this position is not for summer students).
• Be physically fit and able to be on your feet most of the day, actively working with dogs etc. Able to lift 40 -50lbs repetitively.
• Previous experience with animals is an asset.
• Must be comfortable with raw pet food and raw meat.
• Starting wage is $14.50 per hour with the ability to grow
