Education/Training/Certifications
- Minimum Intermediate High Proficiency in Kanyen’keha as outlined in the ACTFL Rating Scale is preferred; lower proficiencies will be considered, daily usage of Kanyen’Keha is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Rotinonson:ni worldview and a willingness for continued learning
- Teaching credentials (Dip. Ed., B.Ed., E.E., E.A., Waldorf Foundations) are considered an asset but are not required
- Minimum one year relevant experience working with children
- Special Skills are an asset (i.e. handwork, singing, storytelling)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in special training, professional development
- Acceptable police record check including a vulnerable sector check
