• The successful candidate must have expertise in administering housing assessments and counselling skills.
• The position will provide intensive housing support to individuals facing or experiencing homelessness and make referrals to community resources.
• Candidates must have strong advocacy skills and excellent knowledge of local community resources and the local housing market.
• Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications is required.

Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc.’s Hastings Housing Resource Centre requires an Intensive Case Manager to provide services to individuals facing or experiencing homelessness in Belleville and surrounding communities. This is a part-time contract position (21 to 28 hours/week) commencing April 1, 2023.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized support plans, assisting clients in obtaining/maintaining housing, providing housing retention and life skills counselling, providing on-going intensive follow-up services, liaising, advocating and referring clients to relevant community agencies, networking with local community agencies and landlords, connecting with landlords to enhance the housing registry, maintaining client files and assisting with data collection.
