The maintenance person is responsible for the day to day preventative and corrective maintenance needs of the hotel. Duties includes performing routine maintenance duties such as repair work on hotel furniture/fixtures in public areas and guest rooms, cleaning, garbage removal, snow removal, steam cleaning, keeping the outside areas free of trash and debris. Knowledge of minor electrical and plumbing issues an asset. Track and record needed daily measurements of systems, pool, spa. This position can also include light housekeeping work (e.g., sweeping, moping public areas & guest rooms).

The maintenance person will also keep stock of needed items (e.g., light bulbs, filters, chemicals) and willing to assist all departments in what is needed to run a successful business.

This position’s hours will be dependent on business needs with no guaranteed hours, days, or shifts, however, this is negotiable for the appropriate applicant.
