Education/Training/Certifications

  • Completion of post secondary education in Business or Office Administration; or a minimum of 2 years related experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required

Experience:

  • Administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
  • Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

Position Requirements

The Office Administrator in Picton is responsible for the day to day operations. Considerable efficiency is required in effectively handling the workload, and ensuring an efficient flow of production of regular duties and any other assignments as required. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Telephone and walk-in reception
  • Prepare and organize listing files in a timely manner, ensuring all paperwork is in compliance with all regulatory entities
  • Data entry input of listings on both Quinte and Toronto real estate boards
  • Prepare bank slips and take deposits to the bank
  • Oversee office maintenance/repairs
  • Complete month end duties (photocopy reports, petty cash)

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Picton, ON K0K 2T0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

** TRAINING for this position is done at our Belleville office location, so ability to travel to Belleville daily for 2 weeks is required.
