  • Flexible approach – working with care and adding to an atmosphere of respect, civility and decency. Ability to adjust to changes is important.
  • Proficient with ERP system, creating excel spreadsheets – working with our team to review information and sharing this role.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit – looking at challenges with an attitude of finding ways to improve and to be a more efficient operation.

Job Description:

  • Monitoring and purchase all raw materials, packaging materials and related supplies for our full production needs.
  • Ensuring all required materials are ordered and arrive in a timely manner, arrange where required the transportation.
  • Discuss any discrepancies of orders with vendors.
  • Organizing activities and workflow to maximize production efficiencies.
  • Cooperates with Warehouse, Production, Operations, Inventory for material handling.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on vendor issues and aiding in the implementation of preventative/corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Organizes weekly material expiry items.
  • Organize transfers for moving materials between off site warehouses.
  • Able to adjust schedule to maximize material usage.
  • Daily interactions with team, sharing information and improving communications.

Biggest Challenges in this Role:

  • Staying calm and focused in the face of competing priorities and using time management talents.
  • Adapting to everchanging production output, schedule shifts in order to meet deadlines for customers, keeping up to date with inventory levels and supplies.
  • Working with team in an overall flow of changes that requires daily communication as our business grows and expands

Hours: Full-time hours (Monday-Friday)
