  • More than 2 years and up to and including 3 years of experience.

Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Requirements

Reporting to the Manager, Domestic Undergraduate Enrolment, and receiving day-to-day direction from a Senior Admission Coordinator, a Recruitment Representative is responsible for marketing the undergraduate programs at Queen’s University to prospective students and other stakeholders, and motivating prospective students to apply for admission. More specifically, this will involve delivering online and in-person presentations about Queen’s University, and participating in other forms of outreach including through social media, to varied audiences and advising on matters such as admission qualifications, program details, university life, student resources and support, and financial assistance.

This position prepares and delivers recruitment presentations to potential enrollees at recruitment activities, fairs, events, and other outreach opportunities. This position engages with potential enrollees to answer questions and provides information via virtual outreach including live chat, e-mail, website applications, and in-person. This position also provides advice and guidance to prospective students on programs that meet their specific professional and academic goals, the application and admission processes, and financial assistance process.

The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work variable hours on a regular basis, including evenings and weekends. In addition, travel is an inherent part of the position. This position is subject to the Averaging and Travel Time Credit provisions of the USW Local 2010 Collective Agreement.

  • Maintains enrollee relationships throughout their experience in programs to encourage on-going participation and referral.
  • Monitors applicant pipeline including tracking, updating, and verifying enrollee data.
