Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to an individual with a Community College Diploma in a Social Services field with a minimum of two years experience in a related field.
- A valid driver’s licence and First Aid and CPR training and certification are required.
Position Requirements
Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. requires a Residential Counsellor for its Transition Home Program in Belleville. This is a full-time permanent position (72 hours bi-weekly) commencing May 1, 2023.
The successful candidate will provide client supervision to young adults between 16 – 24 years of age in a residential setting. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work midnight shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Client supervision, behaviour management skills, crisis management and the ability to work closely with the Transition Home team.
