Education/Training/Certifications
- 20+ years experience & carpentry license an asset
- Experience in managing construction job site
- Possess excellent leadership skills
Position Requirements
- Can read and interpret plans, instructions and specifications to determine work activities
- Quality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance
- Combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work
- Ability to read, write and do basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Highly reliable
- Highly disciplined with ability to follow instructions, written and verbal
- Able to maintain and operate construction equipment sites
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Own transportation to/from work sites within the PEC/Quinte region
- Cellular phone for time entry (clock in/out)
- Above average compensation
