Join our team of fantastic camp counsellors and spend your days coaching athletes, playing games, making crafts, and doing themed activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Creates and maintains a positive camp environment by demonstrating a team-player attitude, and sharing the responsibility of keeping the camp environment clean and organized
• Leading a cohort of 10-12 children in their daily routines, activities, and crafts
• Assist with safe check-in and sign-out of campers
• Provide supervision of campers
• Assist in the daily preparation and clean-up of camp programs, ensuring proper use of camp facilities and equipment
• Lead and prepare activities for before and after care camp programs
• Reporting and recording details of incidents, such as accidents, to Summer Camp Coordinator
• In person communication with caregiver during camper drop off and pick-up
• Ensuring camp sessions are running smoothly by developing and leading different games and activities for campers aged 4 – 12 to engage in
• Engaging with each camper as they work through activities, and showing an interest in each camper as they work through activities
• Ensuring that campers under your care are treated equally, consistently, and fairly
• Ensuring the mental and physical well being of campers
• Acts a positive role model for children, youth, and fellow staff through embodying the values of Pegasus Cheer Athletics and following all camp guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Being self-confident and able to accept and adopt constructive feedback
• Other duties as assigned
