Position Requirements
- 2 years’ experience working in a warehousing environment, preferably within a Plumbing & Heating wholesale environment
- Quick thinker and able to handle pressure
- Ability to respond positively to all situations that may occur
- Knowledge of delivery areas
- Knowledge of Health and Safety policies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to lead and manage staff
- Supervise, coordinate and delegate all aspects of warehouse from shipping, receiving and counter departments, ensures shipments are tracked correctly and trucks are dispatched expeditiously
- Oversees incoming freight
- Coordinates stocking of regular stock into inventory and prompt processing of special material
- Assist counter staff to ensure customers are served quickly and efficiently
- Make all necessary labour moves to ensure that the workload is properly covered
- Responsible for assisting in coordinating training and supporting Warehouse Supervisor in the hiring process of all his/her own personnel
- Responsible for Job Evaluations for all his/her own personnel
- Ensures all equipment is in good condition and properly maintained. Makes recommendations for equipment purchases
- Ensures warehouse is properly maintained regarding cleanliness and ensures warehouse safety standards are maintained

Hourly Wage/Salary: $50,500 Per Year
Hours: 40 Hours per week
