Education/Training/Certifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in residential construction with good understanding of various trades such as carpentry, painting and drywall
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and Tarion warranty is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Tech savvy – comfortable with emails, text and more
  • Professional references are required
  • Valid ‘G’ driver’s license with clear driver abstract

We are looking for a Handyman / Construction Warranty Maintenance Technician and Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position, with majority of properties to be attended are located in Belleville, ON and Prince Edward County, ON. We offer great work-life balance, with working days and hours being Monday through Friday, 08:00-16:30. Occasional availability for after hours on-call.

Key responsibilities of the job include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate with team or independently to review all Tarion reports (Pre-delivery Inspection, 30 days, 1 year. 2 years etc.)
  • Review, organize and schedule all work that is related to warranty deficiencies
  • Coordinate with trades to complete work
  • Complete repairs to the highest standards in high quality workmanship manner
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with homeowners and building positive relationship with them
  • Keep detailed records of all communication and interaction with homeowners
  • Provide detailed updates to company personnel: job site supervisor and administrators
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Travel to multiple job sites as required (majority located in Belleville and PEC)
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
  • Help job site supervisor with new builds sites as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work vehicle, phone and tools are provided

Type of Job: Full Time, Permanent Full-Time,

Hourly Wage/Salary: $22.00 -$25.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week
